“Bring your Baby” Beginners’ Course, Part 2:

This beginners’ course is open for students who would like to bring their baby to class. It provides a comprehensive and practical introduction to the Norwegian language, with particular emphasis on basic grammar, pronunciation and everyday language use.
The second part of the course is aimed at students who have already acquired a basic knowledge of Norwegian corresponding to the first chapters of På Vei.

Beginners’ Course, Part 4:

This fourth part of the beginners’ course is aimed at students with an elementary knowledge of Norwegian. It provides a comprehensive and practical introduction to the Norwegian language, with particular emphasis on central aspects of grammar and practical language use.
We will continue working with På Vei, picking up where we left off in chapter 6.

Intermediate Level
Lower Intermediate Course:

The lower intermediate course is meant for students with a good grasp of basic Norwegian language (corresponding to chapters 1–13 of På Vei). We continue building our understanding of Norwegian grammar and practice our conversation skills, with particular focus on everyday language use.

Upper Intermediate Course:

This nine-week course is intended for students who have already passed a Level 1 course and the first part of a Level 2 course (working with chapters 1–8 of Stein på Stein). There will be a strong emphasis on oral activities to improve pronunciation and fluency in everyday conversation. We will review and strengthen your knowledge of grammar, and work on increasing your vocabulary and familiarity with common idioms and expressions.

Advanced Level
Advanced Course (open level):

This course is intended for students who have already taken one or several advanced courses (level B2) and who have completed the first chapters of Her på Berget. There will be a strong emphasis on vocabulary building and nuances in expression (pragmatics), in addition to reviewing and strengthening the grammar seen in lower levels. Reading contemporary Norwegian literature is another core element of this course, and we will practice our oral skills based on discussions of different types of text.
The long-term aim of this course is to prepare students for Bergenstesten or an equivalent exam.
